I graduated from Northumbria University in July 2022 with a First Class Master in Law (Exempting) degree which incorporated the LPC. Following a successful training contract interview, I joined Watson Woodhouse Solicitors in September 2022 in the Housing Law Department.

I remained in the housing department for one year. During my time in the housing department, I was involved in working with clients on a national scale via the Civil Legal Advice Service as well as those in the local area on a face-to-face basis. I mainly worked on possession cases, assisting those facing eviction to remain in their homes.

I also took over as Housing Court Duty advisor for Middlesbrough Combined Court. I would assist the Court and individuals who are facing proceedings to lose their homes without representation.

Additionally, I helped clients who are currently homeless liaise with councils to find suitable accommodations.

After a year in the Housing Department, I moved to join our Civil Department. I work mainly in our inquest team, assisting grieving families who have unfortunately lost a loved one to receive full representation and assistance at the inquest. I also work on other files including personal injury claims meaning I work on a range of cases.

I am due to qualify as a solicitor in September 2024.
