We are the leading solicitors in Teesside, Durham and North Yorkshire.
For over 30 years our lawyers at Watson Woodhouse Solicitors have been providing outstanding legal support to its clients. We support our clients in a broad range of legal matters, supporting both individuals and businesses. We are one of only a small number of firms in the North East of England to hold the prestigious VHCC accreditation that allows us to work with large and complex cases.

With 10 offices across Middlesbrough, Redcar, Stockton-on-Tees, Darlington, Northallerton, Harrogate and London; no matter where you are, we are here for you.

Supporting the community is at the heart of what we do and that is why our offices are in the very heart of the community. Rather than being based in business parks, all of our offices are located in the high street to ensure we are as accessible as possible.
We are fully committed to ensuring accessibility for members of the community and so are proud to be an autism aware and dementia friendly firm.
Free Community Law Clinics
We are proud to support the most vulnerable members of society by holding drop-in law clinics in community centres and in community groups. Alongside our outreach work we also hold Free Community Law Clinics within our offices, that allows anyone to gain expert legal advice from an experienced specialist solicitor. Currently we hold Free Community Law Clinics at the following locations:
Monday 5:00pm – 9:00pm. Stockton, High Street Office.
Wednesday 1:30pm – 5:30pm. Stockton, High Street Office.
Thursday 2:00pm – 6:00pm. Middlesbrough, Berwick Hills Office.
“Expert legal advice should be available to all and not just to those who can afford it”
James Watson, Managing Partner
Supporting Local Charities
We are proud to support a number of local charities, through donations, sponsorship and pro bono work. Alongside supporting local schools and sports teams on a range of activities we have made a significant commitment to the Daisy Chain Project and also My Sisters Place; which both do exceptional work.
