  • About Me

In 2024, I graduated from Newcastle University with an Upper Second Class Bachelor of Laws with Honours. During my studies, I undertook legal work experience in a range of sectors including: Commercial, Crime, and Private Client. I also worked closely with organisations such as Citizens Advice Bureau and the Into University where I volunteered as an Advisor and Mentor respectively. These experiences cemented my ambition of pursuing a career in the law and allowed me to begin developing my practical legal skills at an early stage.

Upon graduating, I began working at our sister company as a legal assistant in the Employment department, where I worked closely with clients in connection with their employment disputes and settlement agreements. As a legal assistant, I served as the first point of contact within the department and liaised frequently with clients to ensure that their concerns were heard and needs were met. This role sharpened my practical legal skills and continued to fuel my passion for the law. Following this, I transitioned into the Crime department at Watson Woodhouse, where I worked as a legal secretary for the Magistrates’ department for a short while.

I have now begun my Training Contract with Watson Woodhouse, starting off with a 6-month seat in the Civil department where I will be working on a variety of matters including: personal injury, clinical negligence and claims against public authorities. I am also currently working towards completing my Legal Practice Course and Master’s in Professional Legal Practice. I am excited to keep developing my professional skills so that I can consistently deliver the best possible outcomes for my clients.
