Hannah Larkin
Currently, I am a Trainee Solicitor based in the Civil Litigation department and I am due to qualify as a Solicitor in 2026.
In 2021, I graduated from Teesside University with a First-Class Honours degree in Law before proceeding to complete the Legal Practice Course ( M Law, LPC) at York St John University in 2022. I have since worked to extend my portfolio by gaining experience in Conveyancing and Private Client for some time, before moving on to Civil Litigation here at Watson Woodhouse. Also, I have worked closely with organisations such as the Citizens Advice Bureau with a view of assisting the wider community with an array of day-to-day problems.
I am now primarily working on Inquest matters in the Civil department to guide and assist bereaved families, who have experienced the loss of a loved one due to systemic failures of care. I am working alongside a number of highly experienced Solicitors and I am thoroughly excited to qualify in 2026.
TEWV Public Inquiry
I have supported families affected by multiple failures in patient care at Tees, Esk and Wear Valleys (TEWV) NHS Foundation Trust, which resulted in preventable deaths. My work includes representing families in inquest proceedings and advocating for a Statutory Public Inquiry into TEWV to ensure accountability, transparency, and meaningful reform in mental health services. I am now actively participating in the public inquiry.
