Alex Wood
I qualified as a solicitor in 2017, having worked in criminal law since 2015. Since qualifying, I have practised almost exclusively in criminal defence, representing clients at the police station and before the Magistrates’ Court.
I deal with the full range of criminal matters that come before the Magistrates’ Court. I have a keen eye for detail when reviewing prosecution evidence and use this to my clients’ advantage when preparing and presenting cases. I am a persuasive advocate who remains calm and focused under pressure, always working towards the best possible outcome for my clients.
Client care is central to my approach. I regularly advise and represent clients at the police station, providing clear and practical guidance at what can be a stressful and critical stage of proceedings. I am committed to protecting my clients’ rights, ensuring they are treated fairly, and supporting them throughout the criminal justice process with professionalism and care.
