I joined Watson Woodhouse as a Solicitor in November 2025 having spent the past four years working for a national Personal Injury firm in Newcastle.

After obtaining my law degree at the University of Sunderland in 2020, I went on to complete a combined master’s degree (LLM) and Legal Practice Qualification (LPC) in 2021, also at the University of Sunderland.  Whilst studying, I volunteered as an adviser with Citizens Advice Bureau (CAB) in Stockton and upon the completion of my studies was offered full-time employment with CAB as an adviser.  During my time with CAB, I dealt with some extremely vulnerable clients facing incredibly challenging personal circumstances and advised on a wide range of practice areas from neighbour disputes to employment law and benefits advice.

More recently, I have spent four years at a large Personal Injury firm in the North-East, where I initially started as a paralegal, before being offered a training contract and subsequently completing my training to become a qualified solicitor.  During this time, I have gained extensive litigation experience, regularly running claims from inception to settlement and/ or Trial.

My prior background in Personal Injury broadly consists of claims arising from road traffic accidents, including collisions with cyclists and pedestrians.  I have regularly dealt with matters involving complex, contentious legal and factual issues, including service and jurisdictional issues with foreign insurance companies, allegations of fraud, and untraced/ uninsured drivers.

I am well-versed in managing high value and procedurally difficult cases and look forward to broadening my knowledge base with Watson Woodhouse to encompass a wider range of personal injury matters.  I am committed to delivering the highest standard of client care, offering a calm and empathetic approach to every case.  I appreciate that being injured in an accident can be life altering, no matter the injury, and I am absolutely dedicated to ensuring that Claimants receive the care, provisions and compensation that they deserve.
