I started working for Watson Woodhouse in 2012 as the office junior. I worked alongside the Magistrates department as well as assisting within all departments of the firm.
I was then based primarily within the Magistrates department which soon followed a move into our Crown Court department as a secretary. Following 2 years in our Crown Court department I became the firms only Crown Court Clerk which is my current role now.
My role involves keeping all in house solicitors and barristers diaries organised and up to date. Following our head of department, Sean Grainger, allocating the appropriate barrister to an individual case I work closely with outside chambers across the country alongside my other administrative duties ensuring conferences are arranged for clients either on bail or remanded into custody.
