My training contract with the firm has covered many areas including; Family Law, Conveyancing and Wills & Probate.  The majority of my contract has been primarily focused on Criminal Law.

I am responsible for the progression of cases heard in the magistrates’ court and I also assist the lawyers in the Crown Court department with trial preparation. My role within the criminal department is very diverse and I deal with cases ranging from theft right up to the most serious of cases such as rape and murder. I am a fully accredited police station representative and attend police stations across the country advising my clients of their options whilst in custody.

I began my journey into the law profession after studying Law at Northumbria University in 2012. Upon graduating with a Masters Law Degree in 2016 and completing the Legal Practice Course (LPC) the same year I began my professional career with Watson Woodhouse. I continued to develop my career and successfully completed the Higher Rights of Audience course in London in 2019. This allows me rights of audience in the Crown Court and Higher Courts to represent my clients throughout the life of their case starting from the Magistrates Court right up to the Court of Appeal if necessary.

I have a breadth of experience defending clients accused of all crimes ranging from shop theft to the most serious of crimes including Murder and Manslaughter. I am a police station accredited rep and frequently attend police stations across the region both in and out of hours to assist my clients.

I work predominantly in the Crown Court Department offering my clients a personable and professional service. I establish long lasting relationships with clients built on trust and good results.
